Bruckenthal Palace

Bruckenthal Palace is located in the center of Sibiu City, being raised between 1778 and 1788 for the Transylvanian governor of the time, Samuel Bruskenthal, a great art collector. The palace, in Baroque style, was built after the plans made by an Austrian architect. Nowadays it hosts a museum with many valuable paintings, as well as a major library.
