Bucharest

Curtea Veche Fortress (The Old Court) in Bucharest stands for a former major political and administrative center in Wallachia, as well as for one of the most important medieval constructions in Bucharest. The fortress was raised during the rule of Vlad the Impaler (14th century) and nowadays hosts an open-air museum.
