Calimanesti

Calimanesti-Caciulata Spa is located on Olt Valley, North of Ramnicu Valcea, where the river goes out of its gorges (300 m.alt.)

Among the natural resources of the spa, we can list here several mineral springs, Cozia and Capatanii Mountains, wide forests.

Among the cure factors, we could mention:

  • Thermomineral, chlorosodic springs, rich in calcium and iodine, that come from a 2500 m. depth (total mineralisation of 2 g. /l.) used in external cure
  • Thermomineral, chlorosodic waters rich in bromine, sodium, calcium, with a total mineralisation of up to 18 g. /l., used in internal cure; cold mineral, hypo tonic waters, provided by 12 springs rich in sulphur, chlorine, sodium, calcium, magnesium, used in internal cure; mild, calming bioclimate with a negative ionization and a favorable thermic environment
