Iasi
Located in the very heart of Moldavia and also being the former capital of the Moldavian kingdom, Iasi stands for one of the most interesting tourist attractions from Eastern Romania. The city has been built on 7 hills, the same with Rome. It has many things to be visited, among which we can list:
The Palace of the Culture, a monumental neogothic flamboyant building that nowadays hosts the Ethnographic Museum of Moldavia, the Plastic Art and the History Museum
St. Nicholas Church, a 15th century building in the picturesque Moldavian typical style
Trei Ierarhi Church, a 1639 architecture monument, very interesting because of the stone sculpted exterior
Golia Tower and Monastery
The National Theatre (1896) which has a nice façade embodying an ancient temple
The University
Traian Hotel, which was built after a plan made up by Gustave Eiffel
Copou Park, where two of the biggest Romanian writers, Ion Creanga and Mihai Eminescu, first met
