Ciucas Mountains (Nature Tour , Wallachia)

A mountain range pretty close to Bucharest, the Ciucas (1980 m.a.s.l. on Ciucas Peak) lie on a secondary road to Brasov, providing a pleasant ridge with scenic and bizarre rocks spread on green pastures. The whole tour can be easily done, and, as an option, it is possible to continue to the WW1 Heroes Graveyard in Tabla Butii and then all the way along the sheepfold-covered Siriu Mountains, to Nehoiasu Village (one or two more days).

The tour can be done based on accommodation in a single hut or camping.

1st Day

Arrival at Bucharest OTP Airport and meeting with the SELECTOUR guide Transfer to Cheia Resort and further to Muntele Rosu Hut Accommodation in Muntele Rosu Hut

2nd Day

Breakfast Hiking trip to Zaganu Ridge, a spectacular rocky ridge Return to Muntele Rosu Hut Accommodation in Muntele Rosu Hut

3rd Day

Breakfast, Hiking tour to Tigaile Peaks – Ciucas Peak (1980 m.a.s.l., the highest one in these mountains) – Bratocea Pass - Cheia, Return to Muntele Rosu Hut Accommodation in Muntele Rosu Hut

4th Day

Breakfast, Transfer to Bucharest OTP Airport
